Complete in Christ,
Dr. Eddie Hyatt’s new devotional commentary on Paul’s letter to Colosse offers
stunning insight into the believer’s position in Christ, and unveils God’s master
key to attaining spiritual maturity.
As
in no other letter, Paul, in this letter, portrays Christ in all His risen,
majestic glory. All creation came forth in Him, through Him and for
Him. He is before all things and through Him all things—including the
cosmos--are held together.
In
Colossians we learn of Satan’s defeat and of Christ’s exaltation. In Colossians
we learn what it means for the believer to be “in Christ.” In Colossians we are
given the master key for living a victorious life and attaining spiritual
maturity.
Written
to a congregation that was seeking spiritual maturity in all the wrong ways,
Paul shows them Christ in all his magnificent, splendor and glory. He presents
Christ as their Source of wisdom and the answer for every need they will ever
have.
They do not need to look elsewhere for knowledge of God, For in
Him [Christ] dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily (2:9). There is
no need to look elsewhere for a path to maturity for, You are
complete in Him who is the Head of all principality and power (2:10). They
do not need to rely on mystical visions for obtaining special wisdom and
knowledge, for in Christ, Are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and
knowledge (2:3).
The message of Colossians was never more relative for the church than it is today, and Complete in Christ, with its 45 daily devotions, will enable the reader to access and understand this vital and timely message.
The
book is available from Amazon in both paperback and kindle and on Dr. Eddie
